They say if you close a pool clean, it will open clean. That, my friends, is bullshit.
Constant gale-force winds…
The barndo pool rests between trees and a big ole barn. Wind rips and roars through there something awful. I wish I would’ve taken a photo when the pool cover was first removed — the water was covered with bubbly, thick, lovely, green pond-like scum.
Six bags of shock and 2 days of dipping leaves later, and this is where we were:

Next, my buddy Alisa told me about what she saw on FB.
Alisa ran across a post made by a mutual friend of ours on Facebook who also has a pool. This friend was thanking yet another friend for telling her about a product called Pool Complete 911 from BioGuard. Still deep in conversation with Alisa, I found it on Amazon and ordered a bottle.
The product claims it’s INSTANT water rescue, and it might be… but only IF you also believe that closing a pool clean means it also opens clean. Again, that doesn’t happen when your pool is subjected to gale-force winds.
It is some pretty good stuff…
I would recommend it — and will buy it again — but it isn’t a miracle cocktail of awesomeness.
But it’s close…

All we need now is lots of sun and hot days. 🌞 😎
For the record, this view makes me incredibly happy…

Now you know: China consumes 46% of cigarettes in the entire world at a rate of 2.4 trillion a year.
