Katie and I take advantage of Perry’s extra holiday discount every year. This year was no different. The only difference was we did it at the Madison store this year rather than in my hometown because Perry forgot to pick up the discount card the night before. Two additional hours in the car with Katie driving wasn’t ideal. No complaints though since I survived.
It also wasn’t ideal that the SUV was in the body shop after Perry’s “run-over” with the law. Typically, we would not have to borrow a vehicle — and typically, we’d have a 2nd car. THREE carts full of Christmas cheer filled Jerilyn’s SUV to the point of overflowing. Katie was embarrassed at the amount spent…
While I usually stock up on paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and laundry items, those things remained on the shelves this year. Good thing since we ran out of room.
Unpacking all the goodies once I got home, I found the only things I got for me was a pack of face wipes and a can of cashews. 🙂
