I’m sick of social media. I’m tired of the political, social injustice and pandemic (maskers vs. non-maskers) posts I can barely stand it. I’m over the MLM hustle… I don’t want make-up, gummies, or coffee drinks. The advertisements that follow me no matter where I go are annoying. (Hear that Nectar and Purple? I’ve already decided upon and purchased a new mattress.)

But what if I’d have missed the post from a classmate’s sister?

Cheri Morris (married name Mankiller) was a classmate and a friend. She passed away in 2015 around this time of year (April 17th). Her sister shared photos on Facebook that Cheri had saved from a time so long ago… and what a flood of memories…
