Ok, so I don’t REALLY have a new dog… but Dharma is flourishing here in the Ville and she’s acting like a new doggo. She’s doing things we haven’t seen her do for the past couple years.
Dharma has some bad hips.
The wood flooring in the Seymour house (even with runners down the hallway and rugs at the entrance to every room) caused her to lose every bit of sure-footed confidence that normal dogs have. She would hesitate going in and out the back door and NEVER got on the couch.
We come here and she goes outside and back in without issue. She naps on the couch whenever she wants. She runs and plays with her evil sister, Merida. And today… DRUM ROLL PLEASE… she chased a tennis ball!!
It’s awesome to see her just be a dog.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is her love for water. Given a bajillion places to lie down outside, she still chooses a water puddle. 🙄
