The knife used wasn’t big enough to be considered a deadly weapon?

I know I’m not the only one that believes the most radical people are afforded the biggest stage. The crazier the claim, the more media attention the person will garner and the more rage clicks they will receive. Social media rewards the radicals, and so does the mainstream media.

Why? Money… that’s why.

Extreme voices dominate.

Dharma is leading a canine revolution.

Dharma is leading a canine revolution from the deck. With Merida and Hugo backing her up, she’d probably have enough support to pass a “Treats for All” platform without much opposition. 🐾🐾🐾

Dharma — and everyone else — knows that radical opinions dominate headlines and feeds, and they fuel public discourse — even when they don’t represent majority views.

Take for example, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

A couple days ago, Crockett went on her podcast shortly after the a guilty verdict was announced regarding the killing of a teen at a Frisco, Texas, track meet. She stated the knife used to stab and kill the 17 year-old “was not a deadly weapon.” It wasn’t big enough, she said.

Obviously, the knife was a deadly weapon because the other kid is dead.  But talking about that wouldn’t garner attention and clicks for ole’ Jasmine. So she spun the narrative making it a race issue (the convicted murderer, Karmelo Anthony, was black and the dead kid, Austin Metcalf, was white), while claiming the knife was too small to be deadly.

That got her lots of attention! Thousands of people shared the video clip of her outrageous claims… and that’s all she wanted anyway.

With all that’s going on in the world right now, I’m beginning to believe that Dharma’s statement isn’t all that radical after all. 😄

Now you know: 1986 was the year of the Cokeville Elementary School hostage crisis. The former town marshal David Young and his wife Doris took 136 students hostage with the motive of wanting to rule over a race of intelligent children. The standoff ended when a gas bomb accidentally detonated and David shot himself.
