Daylight savings time… not a fan. My dogs understand “spring forward.” But “fall back”? Not so much.
I was too sleepy to take a sunrise photo.
Although I was up in time to take a photo of the sunrise for once, I didn’t. But I will share the photo I took at sunset last night. Everything was blanketed by a rosy glow.
Another 70 degree day incoming today even though mornings are downright chilly. I’m still not used to the transition between gas heat and heat pump heat. The downstairs split units are working as they should be because the thermometers I have placed in separate rooms show they are. Still, when I see 72° on the display it’s all I can do not to scream, “LIAR!“
The Farmers’ Almanac says…
According to the Farmers’ Almanac, we’re going to shake, shiver, and shovel this winter. I may just appreciate that outside wood furnace and radiant floor heat after all.
Notice that my slice of the USA is predicted to be ‘unreasonably’ cold (not unseasonably). In a couple months I’ll know more about how it feels to live in a barn, I guess. 😬
TIL (Today I Learned): Since 1850, more than 5,000 people have gone over Niagara Falls, either intentionally (as stunts or suicide attempts) or accidentally. Only 17 are known to have survived.
