For the past two years I’ve talked about Edith. She’s the killdeer that first created her spring nest in the driveway belonging to the pesky neighbors — and the following year, raised her youngsters TWICE right here in my driveway.
This year, she’s back at the home of the pesky neighbors. We know because she’s made her fake nest (the kind they ‘wallow’ out and put rocks inside — the last step before she places her real eggs there) and has been hanging out in their front yard.
But this year… we have HARRY!
Actually, we have Harry and his four siblings. Living in the ditch. And, checking out the pesky neighbor’s property and probably Edith too!
I would share more information with you guys about when Harry met Edith, but I just got this email that needs my immediate attention. It’s from Jesus and the subject matter is reference my “application status.” ::cringe::
